Speaker Profile

Summary: Loriana Hernandez-Aldama is an Emmy award winning journalist, former news anchor and national medical reporter turned 2x cancer survivor and inspirational speaker after a diagnosis of AML Leukemia. Her story will inspire and wow your audience about how to overcome adversity in times of crisis and pivot with purpose through her 3P protocol of PREHAB. In an instant, Loriana’s high level, high pressure, demanding career took a toll on her own health as she went from telling everyone’s story to “Becoming the Story” and made national headlines.  She went from living the life to fighting for her life while quarantined for an entire year from  then 2 year old son. Loriana defied death and the odds but what she discovered left her in awe:  Major voids in the patient experience, health disparities at every turn and the biggest story of her career: PREhabilitation mattered.  How you show up for illness matters. From her bedside with the world cheering her on, Loriana launched her 3P protocol to overcoming illness.  Prepare-Present-Prevail®. On the 5th anniversary of surviving AML Leukemia and a bone marrow transplant, Loriana got the most unexpected gift: Breast Cancer. Today, with her natural gift of storytelling, Loriana leverages her 20+ years of on-air experience woven into her story of survival to amplify the patient voice and coach executives about the ROI on “Prioritizing their own Well-Being” and overcoming adversity. Loriana has addressed the FDA and is a sought after speaker and presenter at major healthcare and other corporate conferences.  She is thrilled to publish “Becoming the Story: The Power of PREHAB®”  at at time when we need to hear it most.
