Summary: Brigadier General Kevin Stewart’s career culminated as the Director, Global Operations Center at United States Transportation Command responsible for the global movement of the Joint Force across all domains (surface, sea, and air). Stewart has served in a variety of billets within the Marine Corps Operating Forces (I, II, and II Marine Expeditionary Forces), Headquarters Marine Corps, Installations and Logistics, Marine Corps Systems Command, Marine Corps Training command, and the Joint force. Stewart also served as the Supply Company Commander during Operation Iraqi Freedom and led Combat Logistics Regiment 15 (Forward) during Operation Enduring Freedom Combat Logistics Regiment 15 (Forward) won the Marine Corps’ Logistics Unit of the Year Award in 2010. Additionally, Brigadier General Stewart served as the Commanding Officer, 1st Maintenance Battalion and as the Commanding Officer, Combat Logistics Regiment 25. 1st Maintenance Battalion won the Secretary of Defense’s Field Level Maintenance Award and Combat Logistics Regiment 25 won the Marine Corps’ Logistics Unit of the Year Award in 2016.

A Marine, Leader, and Logistician with thirty years of experience in service to our Nation; culminating as a Brigadier General.  A combat veteran with service in Iraq and Afghanistan. A husband, father, and son with humility and empathy and life experience to connect with a diverse audience.

What are your primary topics/areas of expertise? Some examples may include: Conflict resolution, International Relations, Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion, Cybersecurity, as well as specific countries or geographical regions.

What are some speaking events you’ve supported recently?Do you have any articles or publications? Have you been featured in any? If so, what were they? 

All speaking events were while on Active Duty as a Marine Leader.  I retired on 1 September and just recently decided to pursue this opportunity and I have published approximately 7 articles in the Marine Corps Gazette on Leadership and Logistics related topics.
